Yesterday
It was gorgeous weather in the weekend, we worked in the garden, had all our meals outside and even a fire with marshmellows in the evening.
Yesterday it was sunny the entire day, a little bit colder, but Spring still hanging in the air.
The birds were very busy and the cranes were loud.
Much to our surprise when we looked outside last night it was snowing. Like a fairy had magically enchanted the entire landscape.
The snow is still here this morning, but I can hear the sounds of the melting snow everywhere. It creaks and drips and all will soon be gone.
...I hear the sounds of melting snow outside my
window every night and with the first faint scent of spring, I remember
life exists...”
John Geddes A familiar rain
A reminder of the busy nocturnal life when the garden isn't ours.
